Your AI Copilot Just Learned to Text (And 7 Other Wins This Week)
Big week, folks. Your CRM just got a text-happy AI sidekick, your tags got a color makeover, and your robocalls got a lot smarter about which number they show up as. Grab a coffee and let's run through it.
🤖 Your AI Copilot Now Lives in WhatsApp
This one's the headliner. Ask AI — the same assistant you already use inside Cycl Sales — now works straight from a WhatsApp chat. Connect your WhatsApp number once, and you can text your copilot instead of opening a tab for it.
It's not a stripped-down "lite" version either. Whatever Ask AI can do on the web, it can now do from a text message: look up a contact, add a note, move a deal to the next stage, check your calendar, or even hand off a draft blog post or email template — all from the thread you already have open all day.
🔐 Way More Control Over Who Can Touch WhatsApp
WhatsApp is one of those channels where one accidental edit can knock a template offline for review. So now you get seven new permission toggles that decide exactly who on your team can create templates, edit flows, manage phone numbers, or update your business profile.
Head to Settings → Users → Edit → Roles & Permissions to find the new WhatsApp section and dial in exactly who gets to touch what.

🛡️ Your Chat Widget Just Got a Bouncer
Spam and bot submissions through your chat widget can quietly wreck your messaging costs and your sender reputation. Not anymore. Chat Widget now automatically flags suspicious submissions in the background — no CAPTCHA, no extra form fields, no annoying hoops for real visitors.
Here's the smart part: suspicious contacts aren't deleted. They're kept and tagged for review, with SMS, email, or both automatically paused until your team gives them a look. So a real lead never slips through the cracks just because a bot filter got trigger-happy.
📞 Local Presence Dialing Got Rebuilt From the Ground Up
Local presence dialing automatically shows your leads a local caller ID so they're more likely to actually pick up. It just got a serious upgrade: smarter matching using real postal code distances (not old static lookup tables), coverage now spanning the US, Canada, UK, and Australia, and the same consistent number showing up every time you call the same contact — which helps build familiarity instead of looking like a new number every time.
You can also now reserve up to 50 numbers per sub-account so your main office lines never get auto-selected for outbound dialing by mistake.
📋 Jotform Now Plugs Straight Into Workflows
If you use Jotform for lead forms or e-signature contracts, you can now trigger a workflow the instant someone submits a form or signs a document — no manual imports, no one babysitting an inbox. You can also push data the other way and create a Jotform submission directly from a workflow, which is handy for logging phone leads or walk-in sign-ups so your form reports show every lead, not just the online ones.
🎨 Bulk Tag Colors + Faster Category Creation
Got a tag list that's turned into a jungle? You can now select up to 100 tags at once and recolor them all in a single action instead of clicking through them one by one. Creating a brand-new category is faster too — you can now spin one up on the spot while you're assigning tags, instead of stopping to go build it separately.
📱 App QR Codes That Know What Phone You're Holding
Promoting a mobile app used to mean juggling separate QR codes for iOS and Android, or dumping people on a landing page to pick their own store. Now one QR code figures it out for you — scan it on an iPhone and it sends you to the App Store, scan it on Android and it's straight to Google Play, with a fallback link for anything else.
⚡ Quick Hits
- Video Testimonials leveled up: you can now trigger a workflow the moment a new video testimonial comes in, filter by marketing consent or collector, and choose whether new testimonials auto-publish or wait for your approval before they show up on your widget. Details here.
- The App Marketplace got a redesign that makes it way easier to see what an app actually does, what access it needs, and what other users think of it before you install. Take a look.
That's a wrap for this week. As always, if you spot a feature you're excited about (or confused by), just reach out to your Cycl Sales team — we're happy to walk through it with you.
